Dan David Prize
The Dan David Prize recognizes and encourages innovative and interdisciplinary research that cuts across traditional boundaries and paradigms. It aims to foster universal values of excellence, creativity, justice, democracy and progress and to promote the scientific, technological and humanistic achievements that advance and improve our world. Three prizes are awarded annually in fields chosen within the three time dimensions: Past, Present, and Future. The selected fields for the 2020 prizes have not yet been announced.
Award/Prize amount: $1,000,000
Application/Nomination information: Nominations for the Dan David Prize are unrestricted and anyone can nominate. In addition, campus may submit a nomination in each of the three categories. Please review general information about the award and other requirements prior to submitting a nomination. It may also be helpful to view information about previous recipients of the awards.
Complete the online form and upload the following information (in one document) for the internal campus competition:
- Award title (Past, Present, or Future);
- 1-2 page statement with the grounds for nominating the candidate;
- Summary of candidate’s important achievements relative to the chosen field; and
- CV that includes a list of publications.
Nomination package for the internal competition must be submitted by midnight September 30.
