Student Success Initiative
The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign continually strives to increase access, promote timely degree completion and prepare our students to make positive contributions to the state, nation, and the world.
In Fall 2019, the campus started an effort to better understand what constitutes, supports, and carries forward undergraduate student success by bringing together working groups from across campus to help identify our strengths, weaknesses, and priorities. The Student Success Initiative work continues, considering opportunities to improve and expand our efforts to help students achieve a degree at Illinois.
In keeping with our land-grant mission and building on our Strategic Plan goal to provide transformative learning experiences, we will close the graduation gap and give every qualified student the chance to meet their goal of attaining an Illinois degree.
