Russian deaths follow presidential election

According to a CNN article by Marshall Cohen and Jose Pagliery, there is a major conspiracy regarding the deaths of eight prominent Russians in only five months. In some of the cases, questions still remain about the cause of death, which has led to an investigation of their connection to a Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Denis Voronenkov, a Russian politician, was shot and killed after he spoke out against Putin and fled Russia. Vitaly Churkin and Alexander Kadakin, both Russian ambassadors, died of apparent natural causes. Andrey Malanin, a senior Russian diplomat, was found dead on his bedroom floor after not showing up to work for a few days. An investigation is underway regarding whether foul play was involved. Oleg Erovinkin, who had close ties with Russian intelligence, was found dead in his car after supposedly releasing a dossier that detailed links between Russia and the Trump campaign. Andrey Karlov and Petr Polshikov, both Russian diplomats, were killed by gunshot. Perhaps the most suspicious death was that of Sergei Krivov. Initial reports stated that he fell off a roof, but that was later changed to a heart attack being the cause of death. The autopsy report stated that he died of bleeding from the chest area. Krivov died on the morning of the U.S. election.

Throughout the article, Cohen and Pagliery referenced multiple other CNN articles. Jose Pagliery is an accredited investigative reporter for CNN. We may never know Russia’s true involvement in the 2016 election, but stories like this will help us get closer to the truth.
