In this resource, Lotspeich-Yadao provides a community-based participatory research activity that can be used to both empower military-connected students and teach students about the research process. The photovoice methodology empowers military-connected students to initiate conversations and inform policy decisions regarding student support, as well as yields tangible data for academic research and advocacy purposes. Implementation can also create a platform for military-connected students to share their stories and support one another.
