Susan Suleiman to speak at UIUC Oct. 17 and 18

Susan Suleiman, the C. Douglas Dillon Professor of the Civilization of France and Professor of Comparative Literature at Harvard, will be speaking at UIUC this coming Monday, Oct. 17th, and again the following morning of the 18th.

Suleiman’s Monday evening lecture is titled “Quentin Tarantino’s Holocaust: Reflections on Inglourious Basterds“: Suleiman will be speaking at Levis Faculty Center’s Music Room at 7:30 p.m.

Suleiman will also speak on the topic of “Irene Nemirovsky and the ‘Jewish question’ in France”: this lecture will be held in the Lucy Ellis Lounge at the Foreign Languages Building at 9:00 a.m.
