Cynthia Segura recently graduated with a B.S. in Natural Resources and Environmental Science with a concentration in Human Dimensions at the University of Illinois. She has also pursued a minor in Spatial and Quantitative Methods as well as a certificate in Global Health. Currently, she is a Programs Associate Intern at the American Solar Energy Society and will join the Peace Corps in the Philippines as an Education Volunteer following. In the future, she hopes to work towards connecting people with nature and sustainable lifestyles, specifically in urban areas since they are often most subjected to higher greenhouse gas emissions.
