Symposium Information

The UIUC Student Chapter of NOBCChE is excited to present the Spring 2024 St. Elmo Brady Symposium. The St. Elmo Brady Lecture Series is held each semester to honor Illinois Chemistry Alumni St. Elmo Brady (PhD, ’16). This year’s event will feature breakfast at 9:30am preceding a lecture from our esteemed speaker Dr. David Kwabi from the University of Michigan at 10:00am in Illini Union Room 104, which will be followed by concurrent informational panels and a poster session in the afternoon.

All students, faculty, and staff are welcome – you do not have to be a NOBCChE member to attend!

Breakfast will be provided at 9:30am for the first 40 attendees and lunch will be provided at 12pm for the first 60 attendees who register using the following link! Registration is completely free.

The poster session will include both undergraduate and graduate student presenters from UIUC! All students in STEM or performing STEM related research are welcome to present, even if they are not NOBCChE members.

This is a great opportunity for students looking to present a research poster for the first time, or any experienced presenters looking for a bit of practice!
