Safiyah Muhammad – President

Safiyah is a 5th year Chemistry Ph.D. candidate in the Fout Lab and completed her undergraduate degree in Chemistry at Nova Southeastern University (Fort Lauderdale, Florida). Her hobbies include: weightlifting, fishing, playing guitar, watching soccer, and eating (favorite foods include American breakfast foods and Indian food).

Uzoma Nwabara – Vice President

Uzoma is a 5th year Chemical Engineering Ph.D candidate in the Kenis Lab and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. She is a fan of Parks and Recreation and Avatar the Last Airbender, Roger Federer, and Reeses Peanut Butter Cups.

Nafisa Ibrahim – Treasurer

Nafisa is a 2nd year Chemistry Ph.D. student in the Zimmerman and Rodriguez-Lopez labs. She attended the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, Minnesota, where she received her degree in Chemistry. Her hobbies include: CrossFit, watching Kdramas, traveling, and eating carbs. Her favorite food is Somali Food and favorite things to listen to include: afrobeats, R&B, Kpop, and podcasts.

Katherine (Katie) Greskovich – Secretary

Katie is a 2nd year Chemistry Ph.D. student in the Mirica and Murphy labs. She attended Kent State University and received her degree in Chemistry. Her hobbies include: knitting while watching sitcoms, singing in church choir, and watching The Ohio State football. Her favorite food is meat and potatoes.
