Citizenfour tells the thrilling and eye opening story from Edward Snowden’s 2013 discovery. The film is suspenseful and thought provoking as we learn about the abuse of power the government and N.S.A have over citizens in the United States. Edward Snowden formerly worked for the N.S.A and met up with Laura Poitras and Glenn Greenwald as “citizenfour” to express what he had found out about the data the N.S.A was taking in from every citizen. The documentary leaves you with an uneasy feeling about what the world knows about you and how they are receiving this information without you even knowing. The story is told through the most credible of facts and raises many questions for the audience watching this film.
