Who we are
Statistics in the Community (StatCom) is a Pro-Bono statistical consulting organization associated with the Statistics department at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Our consultants are undergraduate and graduate students from the statistics and other departments looking to apply their analysis skills to gain practical experience. We are looking to reach out to educational institutions, non-profits, and local small businesses in order to encourage collaboration between the University and the community.

We aim to provide services to and collaborate with local non-profit organizations, educational and governmental institutions, and fellow graduate student researchers.

What we do
Our main agenda is to provide free-of-charge solutions with assistance on a wide variety of statistical issues. We have experience in but are not limited to the following fields:
- Identifying trends and relationships in data
- Making predictions and projections
- Finding meaningful information in large data sets
- Data Visualization
- And other data/statistics related things!
