Dr. Allen teaches General Education science courses to share knowledge of Animal Sciences with students across campus. She also leads study Abroad trips to Tanzania and Zimbabwe. She collaborates with Dr. Wheeler to create research projects for underdeveloped countries, improve livestock genetics, reduce food insecurity, and feed hungry people.
