We are an all-inclusive chapter and we welcome the participation of all individuals who support the mission of SACNAS. One of our goals is to promote diversity in STEM by encouraging and providing
students with resources to succeed in the sciences. We believe in being inclusive of all people in order to promote diversity in the sciences. Thus, we have added “Friends” to our chapter name in order to reflect the welcoming of individuals who are interested in joining our cause as our allies. It is our intention to foster a sense of community to students of all backgrounds.
Here is an opportunity to present your work and connect with other SACNAS chapters at the Regional Midwest SACNAS Conference at the University of Chicago on Saturday April 6! Join SACNAS as we present a workshop all about applying to grad school! We will cover what you will need to prepare and what to expect during the process, from people who have done it themselves. There will be free food and USBs that contain valuable information and resources for applying to graduate school!

The group had a fun day continuing our traditional apple picking trip to Curtis Orchard and pumpkin patch!
Join us and our friends from Intel who will be sharing information about careers with their company! Open to all undergrads, grads, and those not in SACNAS! Dinner will be provided! The event is informal and if you have a resume prepared you may bring it.
