Volunteer Opportunity: Girls in STEM
Interested in helping inspire and empower middle school girls to pursue science and math careers? We are looking for volunteers to help out at the Expanding Your Horizons – Chicago conference on Saturday, March 30th at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). EYH Chicago is a one-day conference where 300 middle school girls participate in hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math workshops. It is an exciting event for both girls and volunteers, and we hope you will help make this year’s conference a success! More information can be found on our website at https://eyhchicago.com/
SACNAS and Friends
We are an all-inclusive chapter and we welcome the participation of all individuals who support the mission of SACNAS. One of our goals is to promote diversity in STEM by encouraging and providing
students with resources to succeed in the sciences. We believe in being inclusive of all people in order to promote diversity in the sciences. Thus, we have added “Friends” to our chapter name in order to reflect the welcoming of individuals who are interested in joining our cause as our allies. It is our intention to foster a sense of community to students of all backgrounds.
