Jacob completed his Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences at the University of Illinois in May 2018 and his Master in Animal Sciences in the Fall of 2022. While working at the Novakofski & Mateus Chronic Wasting Disease Lab, Jacob’s research studied a genetic resistance to Epizootic Hemorrhagic Disease(EHD) in whitetail deer. Jacob is now working as a Conservation Police Officer with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.
