Jiangsu Education Services for International Exchange (JESIE), an affiliate of Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education (JPDE) is one of the largest professional education organizations in China, providing comprehensive support and services for international education exchanges. Established in 1990s, JESIE has been in business for 28 years. As a division of JESIE in the United States, JESIE.USA is responsible for all of JESIE’s international exchange programs in the U.S. Asone of four branches, JESIE.USA in Los Angeles, California was established with the mission of continuously developing and promoting international education, training, and cultural exchange programs between Jiangsu, China, and the United States.
Since its inception, JESIE.USA has successfully hosted and trained more than 1006 teachers and education administrators in the U.S. Having developed a rapport with local institutions and garnering advanced academic support in the field of international education from both countries, JESIE.USA has hosted study tours for 2600 students. We received accolades from the Consulate General of China in Los Angeles and professionals in the field of Education for our annual International Principal Forum event in the year of 2016 and 2017.
So far, JESIE.USA has also developed other programs to foster U.S-Sino international education. These programs include: Teacher Training Abroad, Overseas Study Tours, and Provincial Government Scholarship Program of Overseas Studies for undergraduates, Customized College Programs, Study Abroad Service, Discover Jiangsu Cultural Immersion Program, and Jasmine Scholarship for international students in Jiangsu, China-U.S. Sister School Program, and International Teacher Recruitment Program.
Our network covers 41 states and Washington, DC, and has nearly 500 collaborative partner schools across the United States including primary schools, middle schools, high schools, and universities. Among them are some of the top universities in the United States. We have developed lasting, collaborative relationships with schools like The University of Pennsylvania, Duke University, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, University of California at Berkeley, University of California, Los Angeles, University of California, San Diego, and University of Southern California.
In recent years, JESIE.USA has completed high quality teacher training program named as “2,000 Education Professionals Project” dispatched by the Department of Education of Jiangsu Province. Participants are drawn from 13 municipalities and some prefecture-level cities and counties across the province. The provincial educators have built a high-level education exchange platform for China and the United States. They are able to obtain first-hand educational information in the United States, primary education experiences, and first-hand teaching experiences to further improve the education quality of the province’s educators.
JESIE.USA’s guiding principal is “integrating international resources and promoting Jiangsu Education.” Its aim is to “improve the quality of education and build a brand of Jiangsu Education” and its mission is to “promote Chinese culture and enhance Sino-US exchanges.” Moving forward, JESIE.USA will continue to promote and expand the influence of Jiangsu education in the United States, and at the same time further contribute a solid force to the improvement of basic education in Jiangsu Province.

江苏省教育国际交流服务中心（苏教国际）为江苏省教育厅直属事业单位。 自90年代创办以来，苏教国际经过28年的不懈努力，长期致力于提供高质量的出国留学交流服务，现已成为中国最大的教育服务机构之一， 并在美国设立其海外办事处—江苏加州国际教育发展中心（JESIE.USA，以下简称“苏美中心“）。苏美中心位于美国加州洛杉矶，主要负责苏教国际在美交流项目的运营和管理，并以促进和宣传中美国际教育，培训和文化交流项目为长期目标。
自成立以来，苏美中心的教师及学生交流活动遍布全美，并已成功为超过1006名教师及教育工作者提供海外进修机会，其创办和组织的赴美文化交流学习项目已接待超过2600名学生。苏美中心于2016 和2017年成功举办年度国际校长论坛，受到中国驻洛杉矶总领事馆及各界教育人士的高度赞扬。
到目前为止，苏美中心创办和发展了众多中美国际交流项目，其中包括：海外教师进修项目，学生海外游学项目，江苏高校学生境外学习政府奖学金项目，高校定制培训项目，出国留学咨询，美国学生赴江苏文化交流项目，中美姐妹校交流活动，以及外教引智项目。
苏美中心的合作办学网络遍布美国41个州和华盛顿特区，已与超过500所大中小学建立了良好的合作关系。其合作院校包括多所世界顶尖高校，如美国宾夕法尼亚大学，杜克大学，美国伊利诺伊大学香槟分校，美国加州大学伯克利分校、洛杉矶分校、圣地亚哥分校，南加州大学等。
近年来，在江苏省教育厅的大力扶持下，苏美中心已高质量创立并完成“雏雁计划”等英语教师培育项目。该项目吸引了来自江苏省超过13个省级和市级学校选拔的教师，成功创建了新的中美教育交流的合作平台。被选派的教师均有机会到美国进行培训和进修，迅速提高英语教学水平，为未来的英语教学事业培养了大量优秀人才。
多年来，苏美中心一直以“整合国际教育资源，推动江苏教育”为宗旨，长期致力于“提升教育品质，打造江苏教育品质“，并认定”中美文化交流“为己任。相信在不久的将来，苏美中心会继续推动和拓展在江苏教育在海外的影响，并不断为推动江苏省基础教育贡献自己的力量。
