Tegan Beese

Tegan graduated from the Leep program in August 2018 . A double major in Anthropology and Religious Studies she worked a few different retail jobs right after undergrad and is now a Young Adult Librarian at the Lake Villa District Library. In 2018 she became a student member of the Voice of Youth Advocate’s (VOYA) advisory board, and was lucky enough to be able to attend, with the help of UIUC, ALA 2018 in NOLA. She is a member of ALA, YALSA, and ASLC and is currently serving on the YALSA Conference Travel Scholarships Jury, the Re-Imagining Teen Read Week/Teen Tech Week Taskforce, and the 2020 Michael L. Printz Committee. In her spare time, she blogs for Teen Services Underground and reviews for School Library Journal.

Kevin Kelley

Kevin Kelley graduated from the LEEP program in December of 2018. He is a Children’s Librarian at the New York Public Library. He is a contributor at Public Libraries Online, serves on the New York Public Library’s Best Books for Kids committee and the American Library Association’s Stonewall Book Awards: Mike Morgan & Larry Roman Children’s and Young Adult Literature Awards Committee.

Keely Ward
Keely Ward

Keely Ward graduated from the iSchool LEEP program in August 2018. Prior to the iSchool, she completed her undergraduate degree from Emmanuel College (Boston) with a degree is cultural and media studies. Keely has dabbled in academic, public, and non-profit library work, but found a love for legal research. She is currently working as a Research Analyst in Chicago at Holland & Knight.
