Weather/Clothing

Temperatures can vary from warm and rainy or quite chilly in September in Champaign-Urbana. Be sure to pack your hats, gloves, and other appropriate attire while you commute to the daily activities. Please be sure to check the weather as you pack. All accommodations at the iSchool are heated and cooled. We encourage you to dress comfortably, but you should also look professional and presentable.

Food

We will provide some of your meals while you are here. If you have restrictions or allergies, please fill out the above Dietary Restrictions Form.

Computer Use

Computers are not required for Welcome Weekend, but many students do use this time to work on homework and group projects.
