As a writer, I try to have a message or meaning in my writing that is important to me.  I am interested in becoming a Psychology major and I love basketball and music. I’ve always had some sort of struggle and had to jump over some obstacles when pursuing any goal of mine, and so I am a huge believer in hard work and determination. My writing is a process and I have no doubt that I ran into obstacles while trying to write.  Coming from an immigrant family has also had its obstacles, but I am proud to come from such an culturally rich background and would not change it for the world. My thoughts, beliefs and experiences with coming from an immigrant family are expressed in my research paper along with my other work.
