Reflecting on Synthesizing Sources

Besides some basic rewording and retooling, I added more exposition into what the authors were saying, but also retracted bits and pieces I felt did not allow the authors to flow with each other and only got in the way like Murphy’s statement about criminals that really didn’t argue at all with Cooke’s statement. However, I felt my interpretation of Murphy’s argument was lacking and unfair to that source so I added the comparison of light vs strict between Cooke and Murphy  to demonstrate his views. As well I put in my citations more properly and had the sources listed at the end of my essay as I had not before. I continued  the rebuttal of the original point in order to showcase the synthesis more as it felt properly argued this way and actually putting these sources head to head after having stated their arguments rather than just seeming to state their views and leave it as I had in my original paper.
