Would you like to escape the brutal winter of Illinois and travel to a warm island in the South Pacific during January?
If so, consider heading to Fiji for a Wintermester (January 3-18, 2015) Study Abroad trip!
During this 2-week faculty-led course, you will explore ways that tourism is used for economic development in a developing economy. This experiential trip focuses on learning through guided action, where you’ll spend 70% of your time visiting Fiji’s primary tourism attractions, including beaches, reefs, and resorts under guidance of knowledgeable field professionals. You’ll do a day of river kayaking, and even experience a home stay and take part in cultural ceremonies in a local village!

If the Fiji trip does not suit your schedule, or you are wishing for a longer Study Abroad experience, consider heading to New Zealand to experience and study adventure tourism in the Summer 2015 (May 21 – June 13).
