The WorldQuant Foundation was established to make a positive impact in the world through targeted donations to qualified organizations and students worldwide. Every donation is made with the aim of producing a long-lasting and beneficial change in the recipient and his or her society.

The WorldQuant Foundation will offer a World Quantitative and Science Scholarship Program to benefit outstanding students who are highly motivated, committed to pursuing higher education in the fields of science and quantitative studies and have a demonstrated financial need.

To apply for a scholarship, applicants must submit their academic performance and resume. Teachers’ recommendations are optional. Applicants may optionally compose and submit an essay outlining the following:

*Applicant’s need for this scholarship
*Applicant’s vision for the future and how he or she will figure in it
*Applicant’s motivation for study and success
*Applicant’s ethical and moral beliefs, as evidenced through their real-life experience
