University of Michigan Biostatistics Prospective Student Day Nov 2nd

Below, please find an announcement regarding the Department of Biostatistics at the University of Michigan Prospective Student Information Day which will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013. The purpose of this event is to provide information to students who may be interested in graduate study in biostatistics. We expect this will include undergraduate and masters students who have identified biostatistics as their interest area, as well as students who are completing an undergraduate degree in math, statistics, biology, or some related discipline, and have not yet decided on their future plans.

At the event, presentations by students and faculty will focus on what biostatistics is and what biostatisticians do, on the outstanding job opportunities in biostatistics, and on the admissions and financial support opportunities in our Department.

We would be very grateful if you would bring this Information Day event to the attention of any potentially interested students or colleagues. We also would welcome your attendance or that of any of your colleagues if you should be interested in learning more about our program. For more information, directions to Open House and to pre-register, visit our website at http://www.sph.umich.edu/students/prospective/information_day.html.
