Summer Session Online 2013

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is pleased to offer Summer Session Online 2013 through its Online & Continuing Education (OCE) office. The courses are taught by University of Illinois instructors and most of them fulfill general education requirements.
Online offerings include:
•  Summer 2013 Semester-based Online Courses: The campus offers a wide variety of undergraduate, online course sections during the summer term to allow students to continue learning anywhere during the summer. Undergraduate students admitted to an on-campus degree program on the Urbana-Champaign campus (i.e., degree-seeking students) will register online for these courses using the Student Self-Service website. These students will need to consult their University time tickets for information about when they can register. Note that they will be able to register for summer and fall courses at the same time.
•  Self-paced Online Courses: These are open enrollment courses that are offered by OCE throughout the year, summer included. Students may register at any time during the year and have six months to complete the course. Self-paced courses are ideal for students who work well independently without a formal class structure, can set their own schedule and pacing, and set goals and complete them as they work toward course completion.
