Autumn 2015
A big thank you to Purina for their recent donation of dental chews and training treats, benefiting shelter animals undergoing their spays and neuters in our University of Illinois Junior Surgery program. Purina also generously donated hundreds of pounds of pet food for some of our wonderful local shelter partners. A sincere thank you as well to Michelle Sciortino, our school Purina rep, for her assistance and thoughtfulness while considering the animals most in need in our community.

We would like to thank Universal Imaging for their donation of a portable ultrasound machine, shown below! Your donation will greatly help with diagnosing and allowing for better medical treatment of our shelter patients more efficiently and at a more affordable cost!

We would like to say a huge thank you to two of our recent donors.
Through the efforts of their sales representative Lori Whalen, RICA Surgical Instruments recently donated a surgical table thermal pad to be presented to the Champaign County Humane Society. We have purchased two additional thermal pads so that all three surgical tables at CCHS are now cozy warm for animals undergoing surgical procedures at the shelter. Thank you, Lori and RICA, for making this donation happen.
We also extend our gratitude to Paula Blakley, manager at the Farmtown Store Illini FS in Urbana. Paula organized a fundraiser for our Country Cats program and donated several goodie bags filled with cat food and coupons to be given to our Country Cats adopters. In addition, she raised money from customer donors to be used towards purchase of supplies needed when relocating kitties.
