This website showcases the Global Informatics Initiative, an enterprise for learning about information processing and its worldwide effects and interactions. More specifically it is about the involvement of social media with political change.
The GII is hosted by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. It is intended to provide an organized set of resources for students, faculty, and researchers interested in global informatics. Although the wide variety of online resources presented here are intended for use by the general public, there are also a wealth of print and online resources available specifically through the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
