The GII is hosted by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. It is intended to provide an organized set of resources for students, faculty, and researchers interested in global informatics. Although the wide variety of online resources presented here are intended for use by the general public, there are also a wealth of print and online resources available specifically through the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
