Welcome to visiting scholar Meng Wang, who is the recipient of a one-year travel scholarship sponsored by the China Scholarship Council!  Prof. Wang is a faculty member in the School of Civil Engineering at Beijing Jiaotong University, and her primary area of expertise is seismic behavior of steel structures.  While studying at Illinois, she will be collaborating with Prof. Fahnestock on research related to steel plate shear walls.
