Earlier this month, BFAPA and senior leadership recognized Black faculty, staff, and administration who have achieved accolades over the past year. Chancellor Robert Jones was recognized with a Pioneer Award, and Travis Dixon with a Trailblazer Award. Tekita Bankhead, La Tanya Cobb, Ashley Davis, and Karen Tabb Dina were given Outstanding Achievements awards during the event. Leadership in Service & Innovation was presented to Ollie Watts Davis and Yolanda Williams Goliday, and the Major Career Milestone Awards were presented to Tionna Hunter and Desiree McMillion.  Thank you for your unwavering commitment to excellence. Together, we continue to build a stronger, more inclusive environment for all.

On Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at 3 pm, BFAPA and senior leadership (Chancellor Jones) will recognize Black faculty, staff, and administration who have achieved accolades over the past year. A calendar invitation and RSVP are forthcoming.

We invite you to share your accolades with us so that we can recognize and honor your outstanding work during this special occasion.
