Study Abroad Info Sessions!

ACES is hosting two information sessions on study abroad programs open to all students:
 
1. Sierra Leone Study Abroad Programs
Date: Thursday, January 30
Time: 4:00 pm
Location: 1020 Lincoln Hall
 
The info session will cover ACES Agribusiness and International Development in Sierra Leone (spring semester), ACES Global Health in Sierra Leone (spring semester), and ACES in Sierra Leone Winter Break Study Tour. 2. NRES Tanzania Wildlife Summer Study Tour
Date: Thursday, January 30
Time: 5:00 pm
Location: Turner W-115
 
The overall objectives of the course are to equip students with adequate knowledge of various wildlife management and conservation issues in Tanzania. An emphasis will be placed on the human-wildlife interactions and developmental strategies.
The experience offers opportunities to:
•    Learn valuable wildlife management and conservation principles
•    Understand the challenges facing wildlife conservation
•    Examine community natural resource development strategies
•    Interact with professional wildlife managers and conservation biologists
•    Observe the ecological organization and biodiversity of diverse ecosystems
