Female graduate students in a STEM field are invited to apply to attend the Graduate Society of Women Engineers (GradSWE) one-day inaugural conference, weSTEM (Women Empowered in STEM). Speakers such as Senior TED Fellow Dr. Nina Tandon and NSF Director for Diversity and Outreach Dr. Omnia El-Hakim will share their paths through their academic and professional careers and provide insight into their successes. The weSTEM workshops and networking opportunities are designed to fuel the passions of attendees and inspire women in STEM to develop solutions at the forefront of innovation.

Catered lunch and dinner provided. Due to limited space, approximately 50 attendees will be chosen from an applicant pool to attend the weSTEM conference. To apply, complete and submit the form available here by Sunday, March 24, 2013. After acceptance to attend, confirmed participants will be charged a $10 registration fee.
