The Plant Sciences Storeroom is shared by the College of ACES and Department of Plant Biology. Storeroom supplies can be purchased and retrieved based on WHERE you are renting greenhouse space, NOT on your department.
If you are renting space in the Plant Biology Greenhouse then you can use supplies from the EAST/RIGHT SIDE of the storeroom. Supplies are painted WHITE.
If you are renting space from the PCF Greenhouse then you can use supplies from the WEST/LEFT SIDE of the storeroom. Their supplies are painted YELLOW.
When picking up supplies from the storeroom, it is important to fill out the appropriate supplies form completely for billing purposes. The Plant Biology supplies form tray and desk are located on the right side of the storeroom. Leave completed forms in the tray. If you are renting space in the PCF, fill out the supplies form for their items located on the desk to the left.
The Plant Biology side of the storeroom offers a wide variety of supplies for use in your greenhouse, laboratory or growth chamber project. If what you need for your greenhouse project is not in our inventory, please ask. *We may be able to obtain the specialty supplies required to support your project.
Supplies are billed on individual usage (a la carte) per month. Used items are price adjusted. If purchasing reusable items for use outside of the greenhouse facility, items must be returned so they can be added back to our inventory.
Note: We do not order supplies for projects outside of the greenhouse. If you need supplies for your lab, growth chambers or field studies then contact the purchaser for your department.
