Throughout my career, I hope to enable others to be able to engineer a better, healthier, and more equitable future via teaching and mentoring. Thus far I have had the privilege to be a teaching assistant for five different undergraduate courses and one graduate-level summer school. I also spent one summer teaching STEM at a summer camp in Shanghai, China to elementary school children.
I have also been a research mentor for multiple graduate and undergraduate students, and provided academic mentoring for many undergraduate students through a variety of programs.
I am always excited to share about biomedical optics with any level of audience – please do not hesitate to reach out with any opportunities!
