Quicklinks

The iSchool is known for students with rich technological knowledge combined with an understanding and interest in how technology and people influence each other. At this nice event, you’ll meet approximately 1,000 students interested primarily in roles including:

  • Data Science, Data Analytics, & Data Engineering–including AI, Cloud, Data Architect, Data Curation/Management, Data Viz, Decision Science, IoT, ML, NLP, product manager, program manager, project manager, supply chain, and related roles
  • Business Intelligence and Consulting
  • IT & Cybersecurity
  • HCI/UX

Please Note: Although many of our students, especially in the MSIM Program, are hired in software engineering roles, we recommend the Illinois Grainger Engineering Fair for employers focused on software engineering and dev roles.

Student Attendance

We expect over 1,000 students this year. Last year’s fair was attended by 900+ students and 200 employer representatives from over 50 companies and attendance grows significantly each year. The fair is open to all students at Illinois, so expect to meet iSchool students as well as students from our business, engineering, liberal arts, and fine arts colleges.
