Q: How do practices usually start?

A: General Practices start with large group warm ups and stretching. Afterwards, everyone is split up into groups based on their belt level, and instructors and mentors will lead these small groups in going over belt requirements and drills. Special Teams meet after the General Practices.

Q: What does “Poomsae”, “Demo” and “Sparring” mean for the second halves of the practice?

A: The second halves of each practice are divided into 3 special teams: Poomsae, Demo, and Sparring. Each of these teams’ meeting times will focus on intensive improvement of their respective areas.
