Jadelyn grew up in rural Michigan, but did not live on a farm.  She became interested in the swine industry through FFA, showing pigs at her local county fair.  Her interest in the Ellis Lab started during summer internships with The Maschhoffs during her undergraduate career.  She enjoyed the research projects she was involved with and wanted to continue conducting swine research.

Jadelyn is interested in all aspects of swine production, from breed-to-wean and wean-to-market research, as well as having an interest in meat science.
