Recently, I have been researching the war between Al Qaeda and ISIS. Unfortunately, I have concluded that this topic does not lend itself well to argument and analysis. From this, I have chosen to change my topic to the effect of social media on modern society. The new research question I have chosen is “How does social media affect society?” This topic is even more interesting to me than the previous due to the fact that I am exposed to social media and its effects almost every day of my life. This transition to this topic will allow me to learn and analyze how one of today’s most common technologies affects our society.
