The Dean Repro Lab | Department of Animal Sciences

Welcome to the Dean Repro Lab.

We are a reproductive biology lab in the Department of Animal Sciences and the College of ACES at the University of Illinois. Our lab is interested in all aspects of the female reproductive tract—ovary, oviduct, and uterus. We use in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo models from various mammalian species to understand how cell-to-cell communication contributes to the physiology and pathology of reproductive organs. Our long-term goal is to understand the molecular underpinnings of infertility and gynecologic cancers so that new treatments can be developed.
