CEE 449 Design Projects – Spring 16

Three teams of students enrolled in CEE449 at the University of Illinois are working in collaboration with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the Uganda Rural Community Support Foundation (URCSF) to understand the challenges at the water-health-sanitation-energy-food security nexus at the Gihembe Refugee Camp and Byumba District Host Community. A group of students will travel from February 12th – 21st to assess the needs at this nexus of the target community in Rwanda and design integrated approaches addressing such needs in a capacity building effort in coordination with the local collaborators.
