During the meeting an academic advisor will provide an overview of the MCB program, requirements, career opportunities and the criteria for declaring MCB as your major or minor. Interested students should attend only one session. All sessions are identical and typically last 1 hour.

Global Studies is an interdisciplinary program of study that provides a strong foundation in the analysis of con-temporary global issues through coursework, research and experiential learning such as study abroad.
Students are required to attend one of the following informational meetings in order to be eligible to declare the Global Studies Major or Minor.

Meetings will be held in the Global Studies Conference Room (703 S. Wright Street, 3rd Floor)
The sessions will last about an hour and will take you through all forms necessary for declaring the major or minor.
Students intending to transfer into LAS from another college at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign must attend an Information Session before applying online. Dates, times, and locations of the Info Sessions are below:
There will be one more FA 14 Spanish Minor Information Meeting next week.

Information about the minor requirements and studying abroad for Spanish will be given. I will also sign Minor Declaration Forms at the very beginning (for those who have completed the requirement and/or have already attended a meeting or met with me individually) and at the end of the meeting once all questions have been answered.
Just a reminder to please inform all interested students that the College of Education conducts weekly Informational Sessions for students who desire to transfer into the following majors:
Please encourage students to attend one of our Informational Sessionsheld every Tuesday, 4-5pm in the Education building room 210A. Academic Advisor, Joe Cross, will facilitate these sessions and they are the BEST way for students to get all their questions answered regarding all education programs. The same information will be presented at each session.
