In the initial phases of the project, we are offering open access to the first thirty letters making them view able as pages in the order in which they were read. We are also offering a diplomatic transcription of the letters to make them easily searchable. In a second phase of the project we hope to (incorporate an English translation?). Typically, the digitized letters will be publicly released as page images with with diplomatic transcriptions and TEI-encoded. In a second phase of the project we are going to generate data that will provide contextual information useful not only for researchers but also as classroom material.
