It’s not just food, but a cultural heritage, a way to build close friendships and communities. Tingting, a Chinese international student, will share how she finds a sense of belonging through hot pot and involvement on campus – a story of preserving cultural traditions, stepping out of the comfort zone and finding true passion! “What’s in Your Name” Project Interested in teaching others how to pronounce your name, and sharing stories of your name with speakers of other languages? International Illini Networking in Chicago (IINC) – Invitation Only We are pleased to announce that 2018 International Illini Networking in Chicago (IINC) will be held in February. IINC is the career event to help international students network with alumni who were once international students. 100 selected international students will leave campus and meet with 35-40 alumni to expand their network. IINC is hosted by International Student Career Connections Committee, International Student and Scholar Services and University of Illinois Asian American Alumni Network.
