Most people have a fear of horses, let alone getting on top of a 1200 pound animal. Everyone has heard terrifying stories, while others like me have fallen in love with these amazing creatures. Taking the risk of trusting an animal with a mind of its own could end horribly or wonderful. Of course its a challenge, but accomplishing a challenge can be the best feeling in the world. Some say what if i fall, but I say what if you fly.

Similar to writing, it can be very challenging. Everyone hears about those torturing research papers of high school and college. No one looks forward to it, but accepts the challenge with the determination to succeed in life.

I have been ridding horses since I was three years old. I have rode professionally, and shown many disciplines. However, I would not consider myself an expert to this day. Ridding takes time and patience.  Perfection does not come over night. Every horse is different with their own personality. With time and patience the ridding and the horse become to understand one another. Therefore they can become a team and work together.

No paper can be written over night. Writing a successful paper takes time and patience. Most times I will just type and type. I allow myself to write a terrible draft. Then I come back to it and revise piece by piece.

Not only is writing a challenge, take time, and patience but also effort. When I work on papers I have to be in a secluded area with classical music playing. I also read over the rubric multiple times to make sure that I clearly understand my teachers expectations.

Horseback ridding is difficult, it is terrifying, and can be a life risk. However, the thrill of flying is more. It is addictive and
