As a meteorologist I always want to know what’s going on around me, and the temperature is just one of those curiosities of mine. Besides, knowing how warm or cold it is right where I’m standing is much more useful than at the local airport.
So Danish software studio Robocat designed and manufactured Thermodo, a tiny thermometer that plugs into your smartphone. Just give it a minute or two to acclimate to the environment and you have the temperature, simple as that. Having this wherever I go is nice, and certainly fills those moments of spontaneous curiosity.
