General Information

The seventh annual ILLS conference is scheduled from Friday, April 17 to Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the ACES library at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

This year’s conference will include a poster session as well as a special session on the topic “Language in Action”.

Conference Committee

Conference Location

The conference will be held at the ACES library at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

The address of the ACES is ________, Urbana, IL 61801. Metered on-street parking is available (though possibly limited) on Friday and Saturday, and meters are free on Sunday.

It’s very easy to get around Champaign-Urbana through the cities’ mass transit system. Bus schedules are available at the CUMTD web page. The easiest way to navigate the bus system is to use Google Maps. Fare is $1 per a ride, including any transfers. (Let the first bus driver know you are transferring so you can get a transfer ticket).

Getting to Champaign-Urbana

The Champaign Willard Airport (CMI) offers daily flights through American, Northwest, and Delta. AMTRAK service is also available.

Champaign-Urbana is located on Interstates 72, 74, and 57; 135 miles south of Chicago, Illinois; 180 miles northeast of St. Louis, Missouri; and 120 miles west of Indianapolis, Indiana. Go to Directions to Campus to get directions from nearby airports.
