Cyber Monday– the Monday immediately following Black Friday. It used to be the case that many people would do most of their online shopping for the holidays when they got back to work on Monday (during a time when more people would have faster internet connections at work than at home). The term was created by the National Retail Foundation’s Shop.org and was first used in 2005.
