On Friday, Community Ambassadors Sarah and Kim, worked with the Champaign Public Library teens to design stickers for their computer cart. At first, Sarah worked with the teens to choose a color scheme for their space. The teens ended up deciding on a light blue, red, silver, and black (in line with the Captain America color scheme). From there, it was time to design. The final results are shown in the pictures below. A lesson that came from this workshop was how to do curved text and use contact paper (thanks Kim!). The silver “Design in Bloom” sticker was completed by a regular of the Teen Space, and a student who had been at the ornament workshop in December. The cart looks nice and it’s a cart the teens can call their own!
