Revival of DL4ALL Website

Hello! It has been a while since we wrote a blog post. Our grant funding ended in May 2015, and the DL4ALL project shifted into a new phase. This meant our work at the five sites did not stop. For some sites, the Community Ambassador stayed on, shifting into a new role but still grounded in our fundamentals of demystifying technology. For other sites, the end of the grant signaled transitions and changes to adjust without a Community Ambassador.

Our DL4ALL project also served as a foundation for other programs, specifically our Digital Innovation and Leadership Program (DILP) project, funded by the University of Illinois Extension grant, along with partnerships with the Graduate School of Library and Information Science, the Illinois Informatics Institute, and the Champaign-Urbana Community Fab Lab.

Now, almost a year later, we return to this site to update our readers on what has been happening and the progress we have continued to make using this approach to teach digital literacy. Our first update comes in the form of an image.

DL4ALL Overview

We believe this image has summarized our work in the DL4ALL project and can be used in many situations. This image is also available as a download: DL4ALL Overview PDF.
