The Champaign-Urbana Historical Clocks Society (CUHCS) is a local organization formed for the purpose of serving the Champaign-Urbana area community. The mission statement of CUHCS is to promote awareness of the clocks of historical interest in Champaign-Urbana, provide access through a guided tour of the physical clocks and through a digital tour on the society’s website, provide tangential information on the study of clocks (horology), and to preserve the physical clocks and the digital format of the tour. CUHCS serves members of the general public who have an interest in local history, as well as professionals and enthusiasts who have a more specialized interest in horology.
