I am currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate with the NIH KnowEnG Center of Excellence in Big Data Computing, associated with the Department of Computer Science and the Institute for Genomic Biology (IGB) at the University of Illinois (UIUC). KnowEnG is part of the Big Data to Knowledge (BD2K) initiative funded by NIH, the goal of which is to facilitate biomedical and biological research in the Big Data era.
I received my Ph.D. from the ECE department at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).
My current research interests involve developing novel computational methods and algorithms, using machine learning and graph mining techniques, to address various problems in cancer genomics and pharmacogenomics. For more details see my publications.
