Simon Garcia de Gonzalo

Simon Garcia De Gonzalo is a graduate student in the Computer Science department at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, studying with Professor Hwu.  He is working on the development of Tangram, a program synthesis system for developing performance primitives for applications domains in science and engineering. Tangram supports generic programming and performance portability through composition of user-defined architecture-neutral code into high-performance functions and associated data arrangements customized and optimized for diverse architectures. Currently Tangram generated code is being use for some of the most time consuming kernels of the main plasma code
