Sam White

Sam White a PhD student in the Computer Science Department at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He joined Professor Sanjay Kale’s research group, the Parallel Programming Lab, in August 2014 after graduating with a bachelor’s in Computer Science from Swarthmore College in June 2014. Sam’s research is in the areas of parallel and distributed programming for high performance computing. Currently, he is working on Adaptive MPI, an implementation of MPI on top of Charm++ and its runtime system.
